Our final fixture of the Betfred League 1 regular season against West Wales Raiders at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium will be streamed live on Our League.

All supporters can attend the fixture with free entry before 1:00pm, while tickets for after that time are available online.

Our League will launch exclusive and extensive free coverage of the climax to the Betfred League 1 season by covering Barrow Raiders’ home fixture against West Wales Raiders this Saturday afternoon – when victory would secure the League Leaders’ Shield and automatic promotion to the 2022 Betfred Championship for the Cumbrian club.

Barrow’s last-gasp win at Rochdale has Sunday maintained their narrow advantage over Workington Town on points percentage, with 12 wins and a draw from their 16 fixtures.

Paul Crarey’s team now stand on the cusp of the return to the Betfred Championship which they have been aiming for since relegation in 2019 – after the 2020 season was a victim of Covid-19.

If they slip up, Workington could seal the Shield, and promotion, with victory at home to Hunslet the following day.

But whatever happens, Our League will cover all six fixtures in the Betfred League 1 Promotion Play-Offs through September and August, as the teams finishing second to sixth in the table battle to secure the second promotion slot.

As things stand, Doncaster would host North Wales Crusaders in the first round of the Play-Offs on the weekend of September 18-19, with Keighley Cougars facing Hunslet in the elimination match – and Workington enjoying a week off before hosting the winners of the Doncaster-Crusaders game on the weekend of September 25-26.

But with Keighley travelling to Doncaster this Sunday, those positions could change.

The Barrow-West Wales game is one of three fixtures available to Our League members this weekend, including Sunday’s Betfred Women’s Super League fixture between Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors.
